EU Legislative Interests

Policy areas of focus include the circular economy, public health, the digital economy and society, international cooperation and development, trade, regional and cohesion policy, research, science and innovation, EU recovery and resilience policies, and industrial policy. This work covers a broad range of EU regulatory files relevant to the home appliance and cookware sectors, across both consumer and professional goods, including energy-related product legislation and energy labelling for household appliances; chemicals and materials regulations such as REACH, RoHS, and Food Contact Materials; waste and resource efficiency frameworks like the Waste Framework Directive, the WEEE Directive, and the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation; and key sustainability initiatives including the Critical Raw Materials Act, the Regulation on Deforestation-free Products, and the Batteries Regulation. It also encompasses cross-cutting instruments such as the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and digital policy files like the Artificial Intelligence Act, the Data Act, and other related legislation.
