EU Legislative Interests

Groningen Seaports is interested in legislative EU proposals relevant for port development, Climate and Energy transition, green industry and sustainability in shipping. For instance developments concerning the TEN-T and TEN-E regulations, EU Green Deal and Fit for 55-package (e.g. Net Zero Industry Act, Critical Raw Materias Act, AFID, FuelEU Maritime), EU Hydrogen Strategy, Circular Economy Package, Renewable Energy Directive, European Maritime Single Window and EU Port Strategy.

Communication Activities

Groningen Seaports is a member of ESPO (European Sea Ports Organisation) and WindEurope and participates in its working groups and several other activitities organised.

De lage kostenraming is op dit moment correct. Groningen Seaports heeft de ambitie om meer actief te zijn, maar heeft daar tot nu toe geen mogelijkheden voor. Behoudens lidmaatschap ESPO en ad hoc evenementen zijn er geen verdere kosten.
