Mission & Goals
Greentervention was formed in response to the urgency of the climate problem, and the need perceived by the founders for coherent economic, financial and social policies at the European level in order to achieve the necessary (socially just) transition. In particular, Greentervention aims to: - Inform citizens and civil society in different Member States about the need to act in a concerted way in order to promote coherent and effective economic, financial and social policies at the European level; - Facilitate multinational exchanges and coordination of civil society positions by informing actors about the different mechanisms of governance at the European level which impact the relevant policies; - Interact with civil society in third countries on questions linked to climate change and action.
