Mission & Goals

GRC+ is an independent consultancy focused on governance, risk management, and compliance in the financial sector and related industries. Its primary remit is to support organisations in understanding and implementing European and international regulatory requirements, with a particular emphasis on the European Union regulations.

EU Legislative Interests

GRC+ most recently targets the following EU initiatives: Regulation on digital operational resilience for the financial sector (Digital Operational Resilience Act); Directive on measures for a high common level of cybersecurity across the Union (NIS2 Directive); Directive on the resilience of critical entities (CER Directive); Regulation laying down harmonised rules on artificial intelligence (Artificial Intelligence Act); Regulation on horizontal cybersecurity requirements for products with digital elements (Cyber Resilience Act); Regulation on markets in crypto-assets (Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation); Proposal for a Regulation on payment services in the internal market (Payment Services Regulation) and Proposal for a Directive on payment services and electronic money services (PSD3); Proposal for a Regulation on a framework for Financial Data Access (Financial Data Access Regulation); Regulation on harmonised rules on fair access to and use of data (Data Act); Regulation amending Regulation No 910/2014 as regards establishing a European Digital Identity framework (eIDAS 2); and Regulation establishing measures to strengthen solidarity and capacities in the Union to detect, prepare for and respond to cybersecurity threats and incidents (Cyber Solidarity Act).

Communication Activities

GRC+ communicates on EU policy files primarily through monitoring legislative developments, sharing analyses with clients and stakeholders, and preparing publications and webinars to explain the practical implications of new regulations.

GRC+ is an independent consultancy and does not operate on a membership basis. The organisation has no members or affiliated entities beyond its own corporate structure.

Additional Information

No separate lobbying campaigns, or EU funding are involved, and only a small share of office and operational costs is attributable to interest representation.
