Mission & Goals

Grandperspective invented the continuous autonomous gas emission monitoring method (CAGEM). The scanfeld® monitoring solution detects, locates and visualizes gas leakages 24/7 and in real-time. All emissions (incl. diffuse) can be measured, quantified, tracked, and reported. The scanfeld solution uses FTIR spectroscopy, a technology that allows the chemical analysis and quantification of gases of up to 1 km. This ability to measure at large distances makes automated monitoring of entire industrial areas feasible. It analysis a wide spectral range in the fingerprint region of the infrared spectrum and thus measures a large variety of technical industrial and all climate active gases. The scanfeld system is based on a rental agreement, Units are being repaired and exchanged on a regular basis to meet standards of a Circular Economy. Therefore, we believe our scanfeld system should become the Best Available Technique for many industries to monitor, quantify and report their emissions.
