Mission & Goals
The association aims to improve the position of women and girls worldwide and more specifically: a. to represent the interests of (highly educated) women; b. to promote participation in education, training and lifelong learning for women and girls to enhance their possibilities for self-direction and self-reliance; c. to promote opportunities for all women and girls to apply their knowledge and skills; d. to promote international cooperation, friendship, peace and respect for human rights for everyone, and for women in particular, regardless of their age, race, nationality, religion, political conviction, gender and sexual orientation or other status; e. to promote networking between members and members of other (women's) organizations.

The association is a member of the umbrella organization Nederlandse Vrouwenraad (Dutch Women's Council) and can, as an autonomous and independent organization, collaborate with VVAO (Association of Women with Academic Education) on a project basis. In doing so, the association receives no sponsorship or other financial contribution.
