Mission & Goals
Goodyear is one of the world's largest tire companies. We develop, manufacture, distribute, and sell tires for a wide range of applications. Additionally, we engage in certain other businesses related to automotive and vehicle parts, rubber and polymers. We employ about 63,000 people and manufacture our products in 49 facilities in 19 countries around the world. Our marketing operations span almost every country worldwide. Our two Innovation Centers in Akron, Ohio, and Colmar-Berg, Luxembourg, strive to develop state-of-the-art products and services that set the technology and performance standard for the industry. When progressing towards this goal, we are driven by core values, meaning we conduct our business in accordance with the highest legal and ethical standards, operate globally as a socially responsible corporate citizen, and are a business-driven organization.
