Mission & Goals
GNKS Consult was founded in 2006 and conducts strategic and policy research and evaluation, building on excellence in understanding of the impact of the emerging Global Networked Knowledge Society. We make a difference by contributing to insights that help society and organisations to be sustainable in the long run. GNKS builds insights on sound, objective and empirically-based analysis, with an important emphasis on the quality of the analysis and a balanced presentation of the findings, independent from any political or religious conviction.
EU Legislative Interests
Digital policies (internet governance, data governance, privacy and data protection, cybersecurity) and participation to the Internet Standards activity.
Communication Activities
Participation by Maarten Botterman to the EC ISD Forum as expert is the prime purpose of this submission. I am not representing any vendors. In addition, GNKS carries out independent policy analysis and ex post and ex ante impact assessments on a contract by contract basis, based on competitive tendering. Most recently we presented a report to the Parliament's ITRE committee on the Interplay between the AI Act and the EU digital legislative framework
