EU Legislative Interests

GMV is willing to contribute and dialog in policies dealing with the different areas of interest such as Space, Defence, Health, Cybersecurity, Intelligent Transportation Systems, Automotive, Telecommunications, and Information Technology. In Particular: + EU Space program including: GALILEO, EGNOS, COPERNICUS, Space Traffic Management, GOVSATCOM, LAUNCHERS, Secure Connectivity Initiative (IRIS2), Space In Orbit Servicing. + European Defence Agency Initiatives and programs. + EEAS initiatives and programs related to GMV´s technological areas. + EU research Program Horizon Europe. + European Defence Fund (EDF) + Preparatory Action on Defence Research (PADR) + European Defence Industrial Development Programme (EDIDP) + Green Deal initiatives and initiatives related with GMV´s technological areas activity. + Digital transformation policies and initiatives related with GMV´s technological areas of activity. + Participation in the dialog and related programs of RearmEurope initiative. + DG-DIGIT, DG-CONNECT, DG-INTPA and DG-HOME initiatives falling in any of the areas of interest.

Communication Activities

Participation in conferences organised in the different domain of activity of GMV. Establishment of a Brussels office to implement a continuous dialog with the EU institutions and Stakeholders. Participation in working groups of EC directorates and European Defence Agency. Meeting with EU Parliament committees and intergroups. Meet with different MEPs. (SEDE, ITRE, Sky and Space) Participation in the elaboration of position papers on EU policies, programs, initiatives trough the different Industrial Associations GMV is member. Dialog with National Contact Points, national permanent representation to the EU. GMV to be part of the European Commission Expert Group on policies and programmes relevant to EU space, defence and aeronautics industry.
