Mission & Goals
The Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi) is an independent non-profit think tank based in Berlin. We conduct research, offer ideas and advice and facilitate dialogue, seeking to contribute to a world that is more peaceful, just and equipped to address global challenges.
EU Legislative Interests
We use our independent research and/or our findings from evaluations to provide policy options to respective EU institutions. Policy areas include: humanitarian action (consulting and advising DG ECHO), artificial intelligence (role of EU in the Council of Europe Framework Convention on AI), foreign and security policy (bolstering the resilience and transformation of (potential) EU candidate countries).
Communication Activities
We communicate our research work in different ways, including via our website, social media, e-mail distribution, our newsletter, and direct outreach to experts or decisionmakers. We also hold events to discuss the results of our work with experts and decisionmakers.
