Mission & Goals

Global Partners Digital's mission is to ensure that human rights underpin the development, use and governance of digital technologies. Our goals are: 1. To ensure that frameworks, norms, and standards that govern digital technologies are rights respecting and are developed in an open, inclusive and transparent way; 2. To help build a diverse digital policy ecosystem and support a set of actors with the strategic capacity to promote and protect human rights. We do this through advocacy, partnerships, capacity building, networks, and research, we shape rights-respecting laws and policies and help build a more diverse digital policy ecosystem.

Communication Activities

EU AI Act: GPD made a submission on the EC's White Paper on Aritifical Intelligence. GPD also published our own commentary on the Act. EU Digital Services Act: GPD made a submission under an open public consultation. We have also published our own commentary on the Act. EU Digital Markets Act: As above (under the same consultation). We have also published our own commentary on the Act.
