Mission & Goals
GEN Europe (Global Ecovillage Network of Europe) is a non-profit membership network connecting ecovillages, national networks and supporters across Europe to advance regenerative, community-led solutions. Established in 1995, it is legally registered in Germany with an office at the Arterra Bizimodu ecovillage (Spain). Key activities include the annual European Ecovillage Gathering; a public ecovillage directory and map; newsletters and communications; educational and youth projects, and member support such as IT/web tools and capacity-building. Our vision is of a conscious, sustainable, resilient Europe where ecovillage values and lifestyles are widely adopted.
