Mission & Goals
GAHP is improving health by addressing all forms of toxic pollution. GAHP works across the globe, partnering low- and middle-income countries in prioritizing health outcomes by addressing pollution through its Health and Pollution Action Plans (HPAPs), solutions planning, and resource mobilization. GAHP equally focuses on building public, technical, and financial support to increase awareness of pollution, promote scientific research, and track progress around it.
EU Legislative Interests
GAHP works in Low and Middle incomes countries. Our main work is to support a multi-stakholders process, owned by the recepient country, to prioritize the pollution agenda impacting health outcomes. This work happens in LMICs, not at EU level. Altough we follow all international and EU policies on health and environment. As such as have an interest in "Environment policy" and REACH". Altough we do not work to influence or impact EU policies. We rather want to stay informed.
