EU Legislative Interests

We are interested in bi lateral relations between Germany, Ireland and the EU. The policy areas we are interested are competition, competitiveness, renewable energy development and digitisation. We have no interest in any specific areas of legislation.

Communication Activities

We run a German Irish Hydrogen Council which holds regular meetings to discuss renewable energy development.

we carry out very few EU specific activities. Our main area is the Hydrogen Council which takes up a small portion of the time of one employee. The estimate of costs is based on salary and office running costs. The salary of the employee is €40,000 per annum. So the pro rata salary cost is estimated at €20,000 with additional administrative costs bring the costs into the €50,000 to €99,000 category.
