Mission & Goals
Gentipharm is a pharmaceutical manufacturer based in Kosovo, dedicated to improving public health by developing, producing, and distributing high-quality, affordable medicines. Our mission is to ensure reliable access to safe and effective pharmaceutical products, supporting patients, healthcare providers, pharmacies, hospitals, and public health institutions. Operating primarily in Kosovo, we also collaborate with regional partners across the Western Balkans. Our activities include research and development, manufacturing under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality control, regulatory compliance, and ongoing innovation to meet the evolving needs of the healthcare sector.
EU Legislative Interests
Gentipharm is primarily interested in EU legislative proposals and policies related to pharmaceutical regulation, public health, and the internal market for medicinal products. Our focus includes the EU Pharmaceutical Strategy, the revision of the EU general pharmaceutical legislation, and regulations concerning the manufacturing, distribution, and availability of generic medicines. We also follow policies related to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory harmonisation, clinical trials, and supply chain resilience within the European Union. As a pharmaceutical manufacturer based in Kosovo—a potential EU candidate country—Gentipharm is particularly engaged in aligning with EU standards and participating in relevant stakeholder consultations that shape the future of medicine regulation and access across the region.
Communication Activities
Gentipharm has not yet carried out any specific communication activities, events, campaigns, or publications directly in cooperation with or targeted at EU institutions. However, we closely monitor EU pharmaceutical policy developments and remain open to future engagement. Apart from this, we have collaborated with international organisations such as UNOPS (United Nations Office for Project Services) on projects aimed at improving access to quality medicines and strengthening health systems in line with international standards, including those promoted by the EU.

Gentipharm is a member of the Association of Pharmaceutical Distributors of Kosovo and the Economic Chamber of Kosovo. These associations help us engage with the broader pharmaceutical and business communities in Kosovo, contributing to the development of industry standards and policies.
