Mission & Goals

Generation Climate Europe (GCE) is the largest coalition of youth-led networks on climate and environmental issues at the European level. GCE unites the largest youth-led networks in Europe bringing together 381 national organisations across 46 countries in Europe. Uniting European youth networks, GCE creates a platform for the youth to advocate for a just and green transition in Europe. GCE aims to: 1) Facilitate internal coordination and collaboration between our Member Organisations; 2) Empower young people to meaningfully engage in EU decision-making processes on climate, environmental and sustainability issues; 3) Advocate for stronger action on the environment and climate by and in the European Union that proactively and regularly includes the voices of young people.

EU Legislative Interests

The Climate Law, the Circular Economy Act, the Critical Raw Materials Act, the Common Agricultural Policy, the Climate Pact, the Intergenerational Fairness Strategy, the Just Transition Mechanism, the Nature Restoration Law, the Social Climate Fund, the Sustainable Products Initiative, the Single Digital Booking and Ticketing Regulation and the European Affordable Housing Plan.
