01.07.2025: In-person meeting with DG ENER, DG TAXUD at the premises of EC in Brussels. Ensuring synergies between electricity market integration and CBAM implementation in Contracting Parties: GEN-I representative presented the topic Electricity trade and the use of infrastructure in the definitive regime of CBAM 28.10.2025: Online meeting with DG TAXUD on the CBAM application to electricity imports –Feedback on Implementation, co-joined with Energy Traders Europe GEN-I contributed to public consultation on Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) – downstream extension, anti-circumvention and rules on electricity emissions by submitting CBAM position paper to the Commission. Commission responded to GEN-I's CBAM position letter by 06.11.2025.
