Mission & Goals

The GÉANT Association is the trusted partner for advanced R&E pan-European and global networking. The GÉANT Association is the partner of choice for a safe and secure information ecosystem for researchers, educators and students. The GÉANT Association is an acknowledged worldwide leader for developing and supporting R&E networking communities and global REN development. The GÉANT Association continually evolves key infrastructures and innovates and develops new services in order to fulfil the needs of R&E in a sustainable way. The GÉANT Association will ensure financial sustainability to the benefit of its members. The GÉANT Association is seen by the EU as an indispensable partner for their vision. The GÉANT Association forges relationships with other e-infra providers, Research Infrastructures and other stakeholders to the benefit of the R&E community. The GÉANT Association has an governance structure that is agile and benefits from the diversity of its membership.
