Mission & Goals
Galway Chamber of Commerce is a privately constituted organisation representing over 500 companies and 28,000 employees across Galway City and County. Its mission is to make Galway the leading location for business, investment and people by promoting the region as a hub for innovation, enterprise and talent. The Chamber provides strategic support services including networking opportunities, export documentation, trade information and promotional assistance, while also engaging in strong advocacy and lobbying to influence policy and economic development. Guided by its vision of “Galway at the leading edge,” the Chamber works to strengthen the local business community, foster collaboration among members, and position Galway as a competitive centre on both national and international stages. It is affiliated with Chambers Ireland and EUROCHAMBRES, ensuring its members benefit from wider national and European networks.
