Mission & Goals
Mission: We promote the full inclusion of people who are disadvantaged because of their sexual orientation, sexual identity and their expression by identifying, enhancing and sharing educational expertise. Goals: GALE identifies, enhances and shares methods for monitoring the right to education for LGBTIQ+ students, for training of education professionals and change to promote full inclusion of all students in education systems.
EU Legislative Interests
We mainly focus on cooperating with the EU parliament on antidiscrimination in the areas of gender and LBTIQ+ issues. The LGBTIQ Intergroup is a key group for us.
Communication Activities
GALE is a prolongation of the foundation of the same name. The foundation has done multiple EU projects and having contacts with EU parliament members of the LGBTIQ Intergroup. We also worked with EU transnational organizarions like ILGA-Europe, IGLYO, OBESSU, ETUCE and ESHA.

The legal entity has existed for a number of years but was inactive and without budget. It restarts in 2026 under the (new) trade name "GALE".
