Mission & Goals
Acquisition, distribution and analysis of geo-information and services based on them. Geo-information is all imagery and non-imagery data sets collected by earth observation satellites, aircraft, ground-based systems or any other material such as maps. Services based on this consist of multidisciplinary geoscientific and IT-oriented consulting services which are provided worldwide and include the supply/integration of hardware and software, training as well as institutional consulting. In addition to the distribution of information products, application-oriented software solutions and products, such as GIS data-base, satellite navigation, communication and internet technologies are used, developed and marketed.
EU Legislative Interests
GAF AG monitors and contributes to policy discussions in frame of public events, briefings and consultations, related to. amongst others, the EU Global Gateway strategy, the Africa EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP), the Copernicus programme, NDICI – Global Europe Regulation.
Communication Activities
GAF AG is mainly interested in participating in related public events, briefings and consultations.
