Mission & Goals
Our purpose is to 'shape wellbeing for the world'. For over 130 years Fyffes has brought a choice of fresh tropical produce to countless millions around the world. The company prides itself on achieving the highest quality by nurturing relationships with 1,200 active growers, supporting our 4,100 employees, and diligently serving each link in the chain: production, procurement, shipping, ripening, distribution, and marketing. This approach has earned Fyffes leadership across multiple markets; today it is the largest importer of Fairtrade-certified bananas in the world. It is also one of the largest banana and pineapple importers in Europe. Having previously been listed on the Irish Stock Exchange since 1986, Fyffes was acquired by Sumitomo Corporation in 2017.

Communication Activities
Fyffes is a sustainability advocate. Our main communication activities involve promoting our healthy produce; bananas, pineapples as well as other exotic fresh produce. We are very much in favour of promoting the UN Sustainable Development Goals, transparent reporting on sustainability and we are against greenwashing.
