Mission & Goals
The charitable objects of the Futerra Solutions Union are to: 1. Advance the education of the public including without limitation in subjects relating to sustainable development and the protection, enhancement and rehabilitation of the environment, and to promote study and research in such subjects provided that the useful results of such study are disseminated to the public at large. 2. Promote sustainable development for the benefit of the public by (i) the preservation, conservation and protection of the environment and the prudent use of natural resources and (ii) the relief of poverty and the improvement of the conditions of life in socially and economically disadvantaged communities. Our remit is to engage in culture change, education for sustainable development, public engagement and behavioural activation in order to move to a low-carbon and socially just future.

European Green Deal - the set of proposals for reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 55% by 2030, by adapting the EU's climate, energy, transport and taxation policies.
Communication Activities
Providing communications advice on how to make the European Green Deal more relevant to Europeans' daily lives.

Futerra Solutions Union is part of a confidential, funded network to clean up the influence industry from fossil fuel activity [confidential, not listed online]. - Futerra Solutions Union is part of the Systemic Climate Action Collaborative. The coalition brings together leading foundations, philanthropists, corporations, public institutions, and more, in a collective endeavour to overcome climate inaction and fragmentation. https://www.thecollaborative.world/ Affiliations with other organizations involved in climate change activities: - Futerra Solutions Union partnered with Pluc TV to provide climate storytelling training at COP28. The training was provided as part of the Storytelling for Action Pavilion at COP28. - The Good Life Goals were developed by Futerra as an official project of SDG12. Futerra has gifted the intellectual property, all source research/data and contacts of the Good Life Goals, to Futerra Solutions Union. In addition, Futerra Solutions Union’s corporate member, Futerra is affiliated with: - Development of SDG12 and is a member of the One Planet Network a UN-backed network for activating the targets within SDG12. - Member of the 10YFP programme and sat on the UN Taskforce for Sustainable Lifestyles.
