Mission & Goals
International Justice Mission (IJM) is a global non-profit organization working across 33 offices worldwide to protect vulnerable populations from violence. In Europe, IJM partners with governments, multilateral institutions, and civil society to strengthen justice systems and improve responses to cross-border human trafficking. IJM’s European Anti-Trafficking Program (EATP) addresses trafficking from Eastern Europe through casework, survivor support, capacity building, and evidence-based advocacy. Programming is primarily in Romania, Bulgaria, and Poland, with additional engagement and single points of contact in the Netherlands, Germany and the UK. IJM promotes a continuum of care so survivors can access coordinated safeguarding, social services, and legal assistance throughout the justice process, wherever they are identified. All EATP activities are coordinated through IJM Romania, which serves as the hub for the program.
