EU Legislative Interests
The Fundación Universidad Empresa (FUE) is actively engaged in European Union legislative and policy initiatives that are directly related to talent development, education, vocational education and training (VET), higher education (HE), and the facilitation of internship opportunities across the EU. FUE places particular emphasis on policies that enhance the mobility of interns and young professionals within Europe, ensuring they can access diverse learning and professional experiences that contribute to their personal and professional growth. Key areas of interest for FUE include: Talent Development and Education: FUE is committed to following and contributing to EU policies that shape the future of education and vocational training across Europe. This includes engaging with initiatives under the European Education Area, the Skills Agenda, and the Youth Employment Support. FUE advocates for policies that facilitate lifelong learning, improve the quality of education, and strengthen the link between educational institutions and the labor market. Digital and Green Skills: In alignment with the European Union’s Digital and Green transitions, FUE is particularly focused on legislative proposals that support the development of digital and green skills. This includes active participation in the Green Deal initiatives, monitoring the evolution of the Digital Compass, and contributing to the implementation of the Digital Education Action Plan. FUE supports the enhancement of the Digital Competence Framework for Citizens (DigComp) and advocates for the inclusion of digital literacy and sustainability in educational curricula at all levels.
