Todo ello, con la visión de ser una entidad de referencia para la sociedad en el desarrollo de soluciones duraderas que cubran las necesidades básicas de los colectivos más vulnerables; que favorezcan el progreso social dando respuesta a los nuevos retos en la investigación, la formación de excelencia y la educación; y que acerquen la ciencia y la cultura a todos los segmentos de la sociedad.
