Mission & Goals

ITG is a private technology center specialized in providing R&D and differential technology to improve the competitive capacity of companies, organizations and professionals. It provides R&D and advanced solutions in the field of industry 4.0, intelligent energy management, water, circular economy and unmanned aerial mobility. ITG was established in 1991 in A Coruña and is recognised as a Cervera centre of research excellence in Artificial Intelligence, Smart energy, Unmanned Air Vehicles and Quantum computing. It is one of the five certifying bodies in the world of the BREEAM® international seal of sustainable construction and the first official partner in Spain of the WELL™ international seal of health in buildings. ITG vision is to become an Industrial Technology Center of Reference, embedded in the industrial fabric, supporting companies to improve their competitiveness, connecting them to the institutional environment, and constituting an example of organizational efficiency.

Communication Activities

Events: ITG participate usually in European events such as those organized by Water Europe, GAIA-X or BDVA among others. Moreover, ITG organizes in its premises, own event with more than 300 participants. ITG has several communication channels, website and SoMe sites with an aggregated audience of more than 20.000 different users. ITG is present in communication media digital, writing, radio and TV, at regional and national level with more than 2 million audience.

Organisation Members

ITG was established as a private non-profit foundation in the city of A Coruña by the Official Associations of Architects, Civil Engineers and Industrial Engineers of Galicia, and declared of Galician interest by the Xunta de Galicia in Order of 18 June 1991. In addition to the three founding members, the Board of Trustees of the Foundation includes the Official Association of Mining Engineers of Northwest Spain, the Official Association of Naval and Oceanic Engineers of Galicia, the Association of Agricultural Engineers of Galicia, the Galician Confederation of Businessmen, the Vice-rectors of Research of the Universities of A Coruña, Santiago de Compostela and Vigo, and the Xunta de Galicia. All of them are responsible for the representation, government and administration of the Foundation, assuming as non-delegable responsibilities the approval of the annual accounts and the formulation of budgets.
