Mission & Goals

Ethosfera is a think tank was born with the purpose of defending liberal democracy through the media, public deliberation and governance as essential pillars for any democratic project. We develop new methodologies based on collective intelligence for strategic decision-making in companies and institutions in order to develop critical and ethical innovation. Ethosfera also started the Observatorio de Medios with the Fundación Haz, which works to strengthen news governance, understood as the set of policies and procedures that guide decision-making bodies to safeguard editorial independence and credibility. We also support organisations in identifying and managing the risks associated with disinformation, and urge them to actively contribute to the creation of a healthy information environment by assessing the media and channels they engage with, ensuring that their advertising investments and communication strategies favour transparency and trustworthiness.
