Mission & Goals
The UVic-UCC, owned by the FUBalmes, is an entity of territorial public initiative with a clear vocation to serve society and committed to comply with the principles of transparency and control inherent in public sector entities. Its mission is to be an engine of knowledge and innovation at the service of the territory, with international projection. It focuses on the attention to students and their global training to incorporate the values of individual creativity, professional rigor and social commitment. The UVic-UCC is configured with a federated structure formed by the Fundació Universitària Balmes, Fundació Universitària del Bages, Fundació d'Estudis Superiors en Ciències de la Salut and Fundació Privada Elisava Escola Universitària. It also has the following affiliated centres: EADA Business School, ESERP Business School and Campus Docent Sant Joan de Déu.

Communication Activities
The UVic-UCC participates in several international networks (eg. IAU and GUNI), European (eg. EUA), national (eg. CRUE and FECYT) and regional (eg. Xarxa Vicença Vives d'Universitats). Within this framework, the University regularly disseminates news about projects, results and activities.
