Mission & Goals
Fuels Industry UK represents the interests of six member companies engaged in the UK downstream oil industry on a range of common issues relating to refining, distribution and marketing of oil products, in non-competitive areas. Fuels Industry UK's role is to inform its members of proposed legislation and related developments, and to help form and advocate the industry's position.
EU Legislative Interests
As a Trade Association, Fuels Industry UK expresses an industry-wide view, based upon sound science, on energy, industry, transport and climate policy issues. Fuels Industry UK engages in an active dialogue about key issues in the energy, transport and industry sectors and publishes position papers on significant topics, these can be found on our website. www.fuelsindustryuk.org EU (and UK) ETS and the Market Reserve Stability, Fuel Quality Directive and the Renewable Energy Directive, 2030 Climate and Energy Framework, National Emissions Ceiling Directive, Medium Combustion Plant Directive and the Energy Efficiency Directive, REACH, Compulsory Oil Stocks, Waste Framework Directive.
