Explanatory note regarding low annual costs (Heading 14) Our declared annual costs are indeed very low. The main reason is that our organisation is directly involved in supporting and promoting activities in cooperation with the European Parliament. Because of this close involvement, a significant part of our work is carried out without generating substantial external expenses. More specifically: We do not employ full-time staff for interest representation; the activities are performed personally by the accredited representative without additional salary costs charged to the organisation. Administrative work, office infrastructure and travel related to our interest representation activities are largely self-funded and therefore do not create additional organisational expenses. We do not organise cost-intensive events, publications or external services within the scope of activities covered by the Register. Our operational model is minimalistic, based on direct cooperation, which allows us to keep the financial footprint of our interest representation activities extremely low. For these reasons, the declared financial data accurately reflect our real annual expenditure.
