Mission & Goals
• Represent the interests of small, medium and large companies and associations in the fresh fruit and vegetables sector. • Enhance EU single market and international trade and facilitate the distribution of fresh produce for improved accessibility availability and affordability for consumers • Provide a networking platform where sector representatives from across the chain can meet • Update members on recent legislative and business developments in the fresh fruit and vegetables sector.• Coordinate and facilitate promotional activities with a view to raising fresh fruit and vegetable consumption • Enhance and value the health, safety and sutainable assets of fresh fruits and vegetables

Communication Activities
Freshfel annually publishes the "Freshfel Consumption Monitor" a report that brings together figures on production, trade and consumption of fresh fruit and vegetables across the EU. The document is available free of charge to Freshfel members and interlocutors of the association in the European institutions, and is available for purchase by non-members. Annual event and other associtation meetings interacting with the EU institutions Once a year, Freshfel publishes its annual activity report. The report gives an overview over the activities and is posted on Freshfel Europe website Freshfel Europe also occasionally take part to EU co-financed programme on promotin part of the Enjoy its from Europe initiative.
