Mission & Goals

The Foyer Catholique Européen is an international non-profit association that, since its foundation, has been based in Brussels as a place of encounter, hospitality, reflection and formation for individuals and organisations connected to the Catholic Church. It is inspired by a Christian vision of Europe — open, supportive, and centred on the dignity of the human person. The Foyer welcomes and supports those who live or work in Brussels, fostering dialogue between the spiritual, social and public dimensions of life. Through a dedicated office, it supports dioceses, associations and organisations from Italy and Europe in general, in engaging with EU policies and programmes, facilitating their participation in European processes in the social, cultural and educational fields. In doing so, it promotes networks, projects and initiatives oriented towards the common good, social inclusion and integral human development.
