Mission & Goals
PTK’s long-term assignment is to negotiatiate collective agreements on behalf of its member organisations with regard to: pensions and insurance, agreements on transition, health and safety at work matters, training programmes for employee’s representatives on company boards. PTK is also representing its member organisations developing labour market policies and legislation on the national and European level.
EU Legislative Interests
The European Pillar of Social Rights Action Plan, PTK replied to the European Commissions Targeted Consultation on supplementary Pensions and follows the developments in this area. The Commission initiative: 28th regime - a singe harmonized set of rules for innovative companies throughout the EU. Communication Activities
PTK has established (internally) several working groups manned with experts representing the unions members of PTK developing answers to consultations related to initiatives taken by the European Commission. PTK is also organising work-shops and seminars related to policy developments and legislative initiatives. This work is often organised in cooperation with other Swedish labour market organisations.

The estimation of the annual costs under c) above include staff costs for employees employed by the member organisations of the PTK who has been assigned by their employer to work for the PTK, office expenditure and other expenses related to interest representation activities. The costs cover a full year of operations performed by the PTK, and refer to the most recent financial year closed.
