EU Legislative Interests

One of the key strategies pursued by the Union is the strengthening of democratic resilience and citizen participation across Europe, building on the Commission’s long-standing focus on strategic foresight and participatory democracy. Under the leadership of President von der Leyen, this approach is being further reinforced to enhance citizen engagement in EU decision-making and to safeguard the future sustainability of democracy within the Union.

Member Of

The Foresight Europe Network (FEN) is an informal, grassroots network focused on participatory foresight and interdisciplinary dialogue. It currently connects over 300 members across Europe, bringing their diverse voices into conversations on issues that may significantly influence the future of Europe and thus representing a European Foresight Lens.

Additional Information

The Foresight Europe Network is not a formally registered entity and thus doesn't circulate any money. Thus, we don't have any financial data to provide. We function as a network with our members being chosen through an application and review process as well as volunteer roles being taken up by e.g. the leadership team.
