Mission & Goals
The Agder European Office aims to contribute to the development of an attractive Agder region characterised by high quality of life, low emissions, excellent research, strong innovation capacity, and robust resilience. The office supports businesses, research and educational institutions, the public sector, and civil society in the region in taking advantage of opportunities in European cooperation and funding schemes, and safeguard the region’s interests in Europe – preferably within the framework of the EU/EEA.

Organisation Members
Our members currently consist of the Agder County Municipality, the municipalities of Arendal, Grimstad, and Kristiansand, the University of Agder and the research institution NORCE. As such, our members are currently a mix of public organisations and higher education/research organisations. Our board includes representatives from corporate non-member organisations.
