Mission & Goals

Foreningens formål er at arbejde for folkehøjskolens ide og skabe gode og frie vilkår for skoleformens udvikling. Derfor skal foreningen: repræsentere skoleformen i forhandlinger med myndigheder og organisationer sikre løbende information og debat om folkehøjskolens placering i kultur- og samfundslivet og i den uddannelsespolitiske debat, samt styrke tilhørsforholdet til folkehøjskolen for højskoleinteresserede yde service til højskolerne i deres økonomiske og administrative arbejde, og til de personlige medlemmer af faglig og videreuddannende karakter skabe interesse for og formidle oplysning om folkehøjskolernes kurser/virksomhed bidrage til folkehøjskolernes og medlemmernes engagement i internationalt og mellemfolkeligt arbejde

Administrationsbidrag fra projekter indeholder eksternt finansierede projekters bidrag til faste udgifter samt løbende assistance til projekternes regnskab, kommunikation mv. Andre indtægter er primært en arv fra en medborger, som foreningen modtog i 2024.
