Mission & Goals
Forbrugerrådet Tænk (the Danish Consumer Council) is an independent membership organisation. Our members include about 90,000 individuals and 23 organisations, but we work for all Danish consumers. Vision: A world where consumers are safe and empowered and where consumption is responsible. Mission: We work for consumers’ rights and promote the consumers’ cause so that consumers can make safe and responsible choices on an informed basis. Forbrugerrådet Tænk publishes the magazine Forbrugerrådet Tænk, the leading consumer magazine in Denmark.

Communication Activities
1) Forordningen om passagerrettigheder: Deltaget I konference i parlamentet i december 2025 som paneldeltager og kommunikeret med parlamentarikere om forordningen om passagerrettigheder. 2) Markedsovervågningforordningen/DSA: Oplæg ved rundbordssamtale i BEUC i september 2025 med deltagelse af parlamentarikere og ansatte fra Kommissionen, produceret og omdelt nordic position paper. Dialog med parlamentet om at arrangere høring i parlamentet i juni 2026. 3) Consumer Agenda 2030 and Digital Fairness Act: Møde med Kommissær Michael McGrath i København i maj 2025.

Member Of
The Danish Consumer Council is an active member of the European Consumers' Organisation (BEUC) and the international consumer organisation, Consumers International (CI). We also play an active role in the TransAtlantic Consumer Dialogue (TACD), which is designed to promote contacts and discuss policy issues with our colleagues in the US.
