Mission & Goals

‘Charity’ is not a legal designation in the UK. Feedback is an NGO registered as a Company Limited by Guarantee (ie. without capital or shareholders) and a charity with the Charity Commision under UK law. Our legal registration can be found here: https://register-of-charities.charitycommission.gov.uk/charity-search/-/charity-details/5038408/charity-overview. This is because we are not a membership-run organisation or a charitable trust (pre-requisites for other types of incorporation); charitable companies mean charities are their own legal entities. Foodrise is a charity transforming the food system for climate, nature and justice. We take bold action to uncover the root causes of injustice in our food system and expose how corporate power exploits people and the planet — while building truly just and resilient alternatives from the ground-up. We speak truth to power. We take risks. We act where and when others won’t
