Mission & Goals

The Food Lawyers’ Network (FLN), established in 2007, is an association of practising lawyers who specialise in food law and the law governing beverages, as well as feed law and agricultural law. The association unites legal expertise with regard to the production, manufacturing and marketing of food and feed from farm to fork and related areas of law. FLN members advise clients on regulatory issues, legal matters and judiciary work relating to the production and distribution of food and feed from local and national level to the multinational context. The network’s members comprise over 40 practising lawyers in Europe and the rest of the world. In public affairs the FLN strives for the improvement of food law and represents the interests of food lawyers. It advocates the proper implementation of food law and food standards at national and international level and for an improvement of the legal regulations in order to guarantee food safety, consumer health and free trade.
