Mission & Goals
For over 35 years, the Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner has been providing day-to-day support for families of children with cancer. Its multi-disciplinary team provides individual support from diagnosis through to remission, offering administrative and financial services, psychological and social support, and educational and recreational activities. In addition, the Foundation undertakes awareness campaigns and contributes to improving the condition of sick children. Finally, it actively supports paediatric oncology research with a single aim: to treat better and cure more children.
EU Legislative Interests
Being at the board and an active member in Childhood Cancer International- European branch, we created an Reasearch and Innovation working group on different topics and among them - the European Cancer Plan and Horizon Programme - the Paediatric Medicines Regulation & Orphan Drug Regulation - the European Reference Networks in order to make sure no child suffering of cancer is forgotten in Europe.
