Mission & Goals
Focused Energy is the leading laser-driven fusion company pursuing the most promising path to clean, limitless fusion power. Founded in 2021 and based in Darmstadt, Germany, and in the US, we bring together the top scientific and engineering minds using proven technologies to unlock fusion power at commercial scale. Our goal is to demonstrate laser-based fusion energy by the end of this decade and to build a first commercially attractive power plant in the second half of the next decade.

Auszug: "2 Millionen Euro sollen aus dem Europäischen Fonds für regionale Entwicklung (EFRE). Der Restbetrag von 500.000 Euro soll aus Landesmitteln kofinanziert werden. Einen entsprechenden Haushaltsänderungsantrag haben wir bereits in den Hessischen Landtag eingereicht. Dieser soll im Rahmen der Haushaltsberatungen im Plenum in der kommenden Woche verabschiedet werden." Projektstart 06/2023, Laufzeit 3 Jahre
