Mission & Goals
Flutura Academy was established in 2020 as a professional training institution specialising in Information Technology and Foreign Languages. It operates six centres across Kosovo: Prishtinë, Drenas, Prizren, Podujevë, Shtime, and Ferizaj . Flutura Academy. The academy offers a diverse range of professional training programmes, including: - Programming - Graphic Design -Artificial Intelligence - Digital Marketing -3D Animation -Unity -Unreal Engine -Robotics -Cyber Security -English Language -German Language Flutura Academy is committed to providing equal opportunities for all young individuals, supporting them in developing knowledge, skills, and values that align with the demands of a free society and a dynamic labour market.
EU Legislative Interests
Flutura Academy intends to contribute actively to the following EU initiatives: Digital Education Action Plan (2021–2027) – We are preparing to engage in public consultations and thematic forums related to digital education policy, based on our expertise in ICT training for youth and adults. Our goal is to support and influence future measures for the implementation of digital skills frameworks across the EU and neighbouring regions. Proposal for a Council Recommendation on learning mobility (COM(2023) 554 final) – We aim to support and influence this policy through collaboration with youth and education networks and by advocating for the inclusion of underrepresented groups, particularly from the Western Balkans. Erasmus+ Programme (2021–2027) – We intend to participate in consultations and stakeholder platforms concerning the programme’s future priorities, particularly those related to inclusion, digital transformation, and international cooperation. Our activities are focused on bringing the perspective of non-EU educational actors into relevant EU policy discussions, ensuring that our experience and insights contribute to shaping more inclusive and future-oriented EU education policies.
Communication Activities
Flutura Academy actively engages in communication activities that resonate with key EU policies, particularly in digital education, multilingualism, and youth mobility. These activities encompass events, campaigns, and publications that align with the objectives of the Digital Education Action Plan (2021–2027), the Europe on the Move initiative, and the EU's multilingualism policy. Digital Education Action Plan (2021–2027) 1. Participation in the Digital Education Action Plan Review In April 2024, the European Commission initiated a comprehensive review of the Digital Education Action Plan. Stakeholders were invited to submit position papers reflecting on the plan's achievements and areas for improvement. Flutura Academy contributed to this review by submitting insights based on its experience in delivering digital education, particularly in programming, AI, and cybersecurity . 2. Engagement with Digital Education Stakeholder Forums Flutura Academy representatives attended the Digital Education Stakeholder Forum in March 2022, where initial outcomes of the Action Plan were discussed. The forum highlighted tools like SELFIEforTEACHERS and emphasized the importance of blended learning approaches . Europe on the Move – Learning Mobility Opportunities 1. Collaboration with Eurodesk and the "Time to Move" Campaign Flutura Academy collaborates with Eurodesk, a network that raises awareness among young people about learning mobility opportunities. Through the "Time to Move" campaign, Flutura Academy informs students about opportunities to study, volunteer, or intern abroad, aligning with the EU's goal of making learning mobility a reality for all . Celebration of the European Day of Languages On September 26, Flutura Academy celebrates the European Day of Languages, an initiative by the Council of Europe to encourage language learning across Europe. Development of Multilingual Educational Materials To support its language courses in English and German, Flutura Academy develops and disseminates multilingual educational materials. These resources aim to enhance language proficiency and cultural understanding, supporting the EU's multilingualism objectives. Through these communication activities, Flutura Academy not only aligns with EU policies but also actively contributes to their implementation by fostering digital competencies, promoting language learning, and facilitating youth mobility.

While the academy collaborates with local institutions and municipalities to provide educational opportunities in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and foreign languages, these partnerships are project-based and do not constitute formal membership in any organisation.

Flutura Academy operates with a limited budget, primarily funded through income generated from offering training programs. The estimated costs for activities covered by the EU Transparency Register fall within the range of €25,000 - €49,999. We also benefit from pro bono support and unpaid contributions from volunteers and experts. These costs are primarily associated with advocacy, participation in EU events, and educational activities. We plan to increase our engagement with EU activities and expand our funding in the future.
