Mission & Goals
Flanders Make is a strategic research centre for the manufacturing industry (vehicles, machines and factories of the future) with over 1000 researchers based on three sites in Flanders (Leuven, Lommel, Kortrijk). Its objective is to stimulate open innovation through excellent research and to support SMEs and large companies in the Flemish and European manufacturing sector with a custom innovation trajectory by offering an extensive range of testing and validation infrastructure for products or production processes via its 3 co-creation centres, and 11 laboratories in collaboration with 5 Flemish universities (Ghent University, KU Leuven, University of Antwerp, University of Hasselt and Vrije Universiteit Brussel - VUB).
