Mission & Goals
FIWARE Foundation is a non-profit legal independent body (30 employees) founded in 2016 which mission is to promote, evolve, protect and validate the FIWARE technologies and community activities. FIWARE provides an open source framework of building blocks to build smart solutions for digital twin, data platforms and data spaces. Additionally, a wide adopted program of smart data models in different domains is provided. With more that 600 members in the assotiation, FIWARE community is worldwide active and passionated network of academia, industry and users.
