Mission & Goals
First Hemp Corporation LLC (“FHC”) is a Ukrainian enterprise at the forefront of industrial hemp cultivation, processing, and the manufacturing of commodities, including but not limited to high-quality cellulose for the paper and packaging industries. The company's goal is to develop and produce sustainable solutions serving as alternatives to fossil products through commodities derived from industrial hemp crops.
EU Legislative Interests
Regulation (EU) 2024/1781 (Plastic Waste), Eco-design for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), Directive (EU) 2019/904 (Single-Use Plastics), the Circular Economy Action Plan 2.0 (CEAP 2.0), REACH, Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). These policies affect our key product, which is natural cellulose for the paper and packaging industries. The above-mentioned policies directly influence the market which reflects on the demand and regulatory compliance for our products.
Communication Activities
FHC and its members regularly take part in events organized by the NGOs in Brussels targeting environmental policies. FHC is a member of the European Industrial Hemp Association and EMPPA (European Moulded Pulp Producers Association). Together, the groups focus on shaping the market and introduction of circular economy concepts.
