Mission & Goals
TELA is an advocacy association looking after the interests of insurers providing the statutory enarnings-related pensions in Finland. Statutory earnings-related pensions consitute an important element of Finnish social security. Decisions on social security are made in Finland´s national legislation. The bulk of Tela´s work is therefore done in Finland. Tela´s mission is to strengthen the statutory earnings-related pension system in Finland and to influence the sector´s general operating environment. Tela´s work consists of advocacy operations and it also provides analysis and other material pertaining to the economy of the earnings-related pension system. Tela also provides education in the earnigs-related pension schemes.
