Mission & Goals
fibretrace develops product level material technologiesthat enable the authentication of materials used in textile and related supply chains.Our work focuses on embedding verifiable identifiers into raw materials and enabling independent detection and verification throughout manufacturing and in finished products. The organisation works with brands, supply chain participants, and technology partners to strengthen the integrity of material claims and improve transparency in global supply chains. FibreTrace operates internationally and contributes technical expertise relating to material verification, supply chain integrity, and evidence frameworks for product authentication.

EU Regulation on Prohibiting Products Made with Forced Labour on the Union Market (Forced Labour Regulation). Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD). Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), including the Digital Product Passport framework. EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), where relevant to material origin verification. Customs Union enforcement frameworks relating to import controls and product compliance.
Communication Activities
Provision of technical input and participation in industry discussions relating to material verification, supply chain integrity, and evidentiary approaches in the context of EU sustainability and due diligence regulations. Engagement with brands, supply chain participants, and technology partners to support understanding of product-level material verification in relation to emerging EU regulatory requirements. Publication of thought leadership content and participation in sector events addressing supply chain transparency, product authentication, and compliance with EU sustainability frameworks.
