Dear Sir/Madam, I have read your guidelines regarding this topic, and it seems a little unusual to us. We are not seeking any form of compensation for our discussions with your services, unless you were to commission a study from us, which is not the case today. We are voluntarily offering to share our experience and information with EU policymakers on topics that are important to our member companies and the European industry in general. I, Dirk Stans, am the chairman of FHI and receive limited compensation for my expenses from the federation. Beyond that, I am simply the managing director and owner of my own company, Eurocircuits, from which I support myself. Andreas Meijer is employed full-time by FHI. As director, part of his role is to defend the interests of our members with government bodies. Marina is his secretary. Therefore, paragraph 14a feels unfamiliar to us. We have no prior experience with it and are unsure of the specific information you are seeking. We are not requesting anything and are merely offering our experience and information.
