Mission & Goals
-build a strong European network among European patients and professionals in order to achieve the exchange of best practise -promote education in the field of protection of reproductive health and a pro-active approach to family planning -improve the situation concerning the rights of those affected by difficulties in conceiving in many areas -allow equal access to safe and efficient fertility treatment and assisted reproduction without discrimination -promote fertility support -promote prevention in the areas of fertility
EU Legislative Interests
We follow EU health and safety regulations, fertility/infertility treatments regulations, reproductive health education and prevention, laws and regulations about infertility treatments in EU countries, patients safety and quality of care. Sexual and reproductive health rights along with mental health are our area of interest on the EU level and since patient safety is an area of national competence, we focus on a collaborative approach and exchange of best practice action at European level.
Communication Activities
Launching Coalition for Fertility - cooperation with 11 other European organisations - event in Brussels with participation of MEP Maria Noichl, MEP Kira Peter-Hansen, MEP Marko Vesligaj and MEP Eleonora Meleti. Publication of the 'European Atlas for Fertility Treatment Policies 2024' December 2024, event in the EP hosted by MEP Merja Kyllonen and MEP Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus.
